Five things to see/do in San Diego:
 Don’t miss a visit to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, with its huge collection of wild animals, including many rare species that the zoo breeds to prevent extinction.
 Balboa Park, where the San Diego Zoo is situated, is, in itself worth a visit, offering trails, picnic areas, theaters, and lots of other recreational and entertainment activities.

 The Old Town San Diego State Historic Park (free entry) offers replicas of houses and other items from the 19th century.
 Check out one (or more) of San Diego’s famous beaches. Two notable ones are Pacific Beach and Mission Beach.
