Five things to see/do in Glasgow:
 The Glasgow Cathedral, believed to be the oldest building in the city, is an impressive structure both on the outside and in its interior. The adjacent necropolis is also worth checking out.
 Glasgow has several notable museums, two of which are the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, with its small but important collection of British and European art, as well as the Burrell Collection, which showcases the private art collection of Sir William Burrell.
 Take a guided tour of the City Chambers on George Square in central Glasgow. The present-day government building boasts a lavish interior as well as the biggest marble staircase in the world.
 Any fan of architecture, or interesting buildings in general, should not miss the famous Glasgow School of Art building designed by Charles Renee Mackintosh. Guided tours are available.
 The People’s Palace is a museum with exhibits that aim to introduce visitors to the “real” Glasgow, from both a historic and present-day point of view.
