Five things to see/do in Wroclaw: A good place to start discovering Wroclaw is its 13th century Market Square (Rynek) with its beautiful buildings (such as the former city hall).
The 13th century City Hall (Ratusz) building has a beautiful facade that combines elements of Renaissance and Gothic architecture. Check out the Museum of City Art (Muzeum Sztuki Mieszczanskiej) inside.

On Cathedral island, don’t miss St John’s Cathedral is an impressive 13th century structure, which offers great views of the city from the top of it’s tower.
Don’t miss the unique architecture of Centennial Hall (Hala Ludowa), a World Heritage Site. The monumental structure is the work of Max Berg (1911).
