Five things to see/do in Donostia-San Sebastian:
Take a walk down Calle de Zubieta, not far from the beach, with its beautiful Belle Epoque/neo-Renaissance style buildings.
The Teatro Victoria Eugenia, where the San Sebastian Film Festival is hosted, and the nearby Hotel Maria Cristina are two notable Belle Epoque style buildings worth checking out.
Walk around San Sebastian’s Alde Zaharra or Parte Vieja (Old Town). The historic area of narrow streets is one of the city’s main going-out areas, especially at night.
Take a hike up to Monte Urgull, where you’ll find the ruins of a castle, as well as spectacular views of the city below.
Spend a relaxing day at the beach. Playa de la Concha is San Sebastian’s most famous beach, offering typical activities for those looking for some sun and fun.
